Beyonce Returns To Her African Roots

Recently, there has been quite a media circus over Beyonce's lighter completion and bleached hair.
I have to agree, lately she has been looking paler and paler by the day!

To show that black is still and forever shall be in vogue, Beyonce did a tribal,african-inspired shoot for a Paris based magazine, L'Officiel. For this photo shoot, Beyonce voluntarily wore dark, heavy make-up and said that she was 'paying homage African Queens'....(the likes of yours trully, of course LOL) and further said she was 'returning to her African roots'. Way to go B*.!

This makes a HUGE statement!

Very Fierce!!

It can't get more tribal than this.! *loves*

Wow, this is amazing. I love me some Bey.!

  2. I think Beyonce was trying to make a statement (That she loves being black and would nor bleach her skin, in my opinion) for the spread that is why they used her and had her painted. I have to agree with you though, Sudanese women are the FUTURE, extremely beautiful.

  3. Yes, yes. Just what America needs ---another false face in "black face". I suppose it wasn't degrading enough when Caucasians did that for 'show'. So, putting a light skinned girl from Texas...or is it actually "Creole" again, makes things better? Is this some kind of willie lynch rebirth or joke to those who actually ARE African? I feel she and all other women, no matter the shade of skin, need to just be happy and content with being HUMAN and stop trying so hard to be what you evidentally ARE NOT!
